BBC SUSSEX RADIO ...
... ON THE VILLAGE TYE ... with radio presenter, Simon Jenkins ...
... and a host of other lovely folks ...
(From left: David, Debbie, Marion, Sylvia, Cheryl, Ray, me and Brian)
As a result of Debbie Exley's thoughtfulness and kindness, Cheryl and I were invited down to the village Tye early this morning to celebrate 'live' with BBC Sussex Radio all the excitement and activities that give character and vibrancy to this village.
It was so impromptu ... and sheer coincidence that Simon and I had worked together before on BBC Stargazing Live, when we had stood beneath a crystal clear, cobalt sky at 0600hrs one January morning on the South Downs, sharing Venus, Saturn, a crescent Moon and a passing of the International Space Station with listeners on Neil Pringle's 'drive time' radio show.
As a result of that live interview, Simon took me aside to pre-record another 'segment' about astronomy in the village for a show to be aired later today ... so feel free to listen in ...
... and I think some other opportunities may be in the pipeline ... not least of which is a radio interview with Allison Ferns at 2.00pm on Monday, 27th April 2015.
But, most importantly, how kind people are ... and what a lovely, fun time we had, drinking coffee, talking and laughing with the 'Cathedral of the Downs' and the Clergy House providing the wonderful backdrop ...

Thank you one and all ...
