This NWAF 2017 will be the Grand Finale for what has always been a totally brilliant annual astronomy event.

The North West Astronomy Festival is the brainchild of Sue and Andrew Davies of The Knowledge Observatory, and, in my opinion, captures the very heart and soul of astronomy.

I am privileged to be joining Jane MacArthur and Gemma Lavender to present on 'Ladies Day' ... but we are part of a much bigger 'whole' since there will be workshops, astronomer Q&As, numerous trade stalls and demonstrations as astronomy groups, societies, clubs and the general enthusiasts at large come together to make this a truly memorable event.

Having participated last year, I can wholeheartedly vouch for the fact that this year's event will be uplifting, inspiring, educational, at times deeply moving and, above all, so much fun!
