Gigantic advances in technology are now opening up space to human observation at a rate undreamt when Sputnik became the first satellite in space. Jane Green is a distinguished space expert as well as a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. She is also a writer, presenter and broadcaster who hopped aboard Sputnik to give us some fascinating facts about the moon and more.
